Join IEDA

Membership in the Indiana Economic Development Association (IEDA) means being part of "One State, Many Voices"—a network equipped and unified to drive opportunity in every corner of Indiana.

We are dedicated to supporting our members with tangible benefits for career growth and community service:

  • Inclusive Networking: IEDA members are a collaborative community. Our unique networking activities—built into conference schedules and offered throughout the year—provide multiple chances to share information, learn from peers, and forge supportive professional relationships. 
  • Expert Education: Join us at regularly scheduled meetings across the state for on-going educational programs designed to equip you with the skills to lead. We make professional growth approachable through webinars and various learning opportunities throughout the year. 
  • Confident Advocacy: IEDA is your voice. Through established relationships with the IEDC, elected officials, and other organizations, we confidently work to assure that economic development issues remain on the forefront of Indiana’s agenda.

The Indiana Economic Development Association (IEDA) is an inclusive network—"One State, Many Voices." To ensure you receive the most relevant support and connection, please select the category that best describes your primary professional role.

Economic Development Professional

You work for a local or regional economic development organization, regional plan commission, or workforce board. This is the core membership level for community-based ED practitioners.


Consultants/corporate

You work for a company that supports or collaborates with economic development, such as construction, finance, law, real estate, or utilities.


Government Agency

You represent a state or federal economic development agency.

Education

You are part of a college or university supporting economic development. Important: To ensure adequate access to benefits, different departments or schools within the same institution should sign up for separate memberships at this level.


PRofessional Association

You are part of a trade or professional organization engaged in economic development efforts.


ADditional Memberships

You are a student, retiree, or volunteer. These levels provide access to our network at a reduced rate for individuals not currently employed full-time in the field.
