Overview
Individual Membership – $225
Those individuals who are working for a local or regional economic development organization, or who are engaged full-time in economic development in the State of Indiana. These members rights include, but are not limited to, voting, the right to vote and the right to hold office. Employees of Indiana Regional Plan Commissions and Indiana regional workforce boards may be considered for Individual Membership.
Corporate Membership

2-3 members $675
4-6 members $1,350
7-10 members $2,250
11-15 members $3,375
Over 15 board decision
Those employees of private sector firms involved in economic development in the state of Indiana may qualify to be Corporate Members. Corporate Members shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of membership including, but not limited to voting, the right to vote and the right to hold office (the “Voting Member”). All Corporate Memberships will remain with the corporation when a corporate employee who is Member leaves that firm. Examples of the types of Corporate Member firms include Accounting Firms,Construction Companies, Consultants, Financial Institutions, Law Firms, Real Estate Brokerage and Development Companies, Site Consultants, and Utilities.
Professional Association Membership – $350
(one voting member)
Professional and trade associations that work in economic development within the state of Indiana. The Professional Association will hold the membership with the designation of one representative. All employees and/or volunteer leaders of the Professional Association Member shall be entitled to membership rates for all Association conferences, but only the designee will maintain all of the rights and privileges of membership, such the right to vote and the right to hold office.
Educational Institution Members – $350
Institutions of higher education, within the State of Indiana, may qualify as Educational Institution Members. The Institution will hold the membership with the designation of one representative. All faculty and staff of the Institution shall be entitled to membership rates for all Association conferences, while only the designee will maintain the rights and privileges of membership, such as the right to vote and the right to hold office. The Educational Institution holding the membership may change its designee at any time subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
Life Members – $25
Those individuals who have retired but maintain an interest in the economic development of the State of Indiana. Life Members shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of membership except the right to vote and hold office.
Student Members – $25
Those individuals enrolled as full-time students, who have an interest in economic development in the State of Indiana. Student Members shall be eligible for scholarships made available by the Association provided that all Individual Members shall be given first consideration. Student Members shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of membership except the right to vote or hold office.
Associate Members – $50
Those individuals who are engaged on a part-time or voluntary basis in economic development. Associate Members shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of membership except the right to vote or hold office.
Federal and State Economic Development Agency Members – $225
Individuals who work for federal and state economic development agencies. This classification shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of membership except the right to vote and hold office.
