EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

 

There is an immediate opening for the position of Executive Director for the Rush County Economic & Community Development Corporation. Competitive salary and benefit package commensurate with relevant experience and demonstrable record of successful past job performance.

The ideal candidate must possess exceptional organizational management skills with an emphasis on team building. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential. In addition, the ideal candidate must be a self-starter, and possess strong leadership skills, as well as having an outgoing, confident, and engaging personality. The ability to identify and define realistic economic development goals and objectives is essential, along with the ability to build consensus among major economic development stakeholders in the community.

Experience in public and community relations is a necessity. A bachelors’ degree in business with a major in economics, marketing, or management, and three to five years experience in economic development is preferred.
