Welders, CNC Operators, Carpenters and other professions, trained at State expense, available for work.

This webinar will feature Sherman Johnson, Indiana Department of Corrections, talking about a new state program that trains offenders as certified welders, CNC operators, commercial carpenters, logistics workers and workers with advanced manufacturing skills. These workers bring tax incentives for employers and are ready and eager to work upon release from incarceration. Johnson will share details of the program, address concerns that employers may have, and talk about early successes. This may be a good webinar to invite your board members, or local HR directors to sit in on.
