Access to talent is at the forefront of challenges business leaders across the world are working to address amidst a strong economy, tight labor market, aging workforce and environment where the future of work is changing more rapidly than ever before. Developing talent pipelines requires quicker, faster, more agile engagement between education and business so students develop awareness of and skills needed for job opportunities and so businesses have access to the workforce needed.

This 90-minute, hands-on workshop, will feature on overview of trends and concepts from Blair Milo, Secretary of Career Connections and Talent, and an opportunity to develop tailored solutions with a member of the leadership team from the newly established state-based Office of Work-Based Learning and Apprenticeship. Business leaders and local and regional economic developers will be connected with tools and resources to address talent development, engagement and attraction. Additionally, the team will invite feedback on how to further develop and refine collaboration to meet talent challenges and opportunities.
