The Town of Avon, Indiana (pop: 19,500 approx.) is seeking an Economic Development Director to implement the Town’s economic development strategy and incentive program, participate in business attraction, retention and expansion efforts and lead the marketing efforts for the Town. The Director will report directly to the Town Manager.

The ideal candidate is a productive, hands-on and forward-thinking individual who is an exceptional communicator and has a demonstrated record of establishing effective working relationships with employees, senior management, citizens, the business community, elected officials and other stakeholders.

The Town of Avon is ranked as the 17th best place to live in America by Money Magazine and is the fastest growing community in Hendricks County located west of Indianapolis. The community has a great quality of life with exceptional schools and parks.

Compensation: $70,000 to $77,060
